The year 1995 saw a young and passionate DJ come into the heart of San Antonio, TX. Spinning at nightclubs by the age of 12, everything started at a very early age for Eddie Rza, but it never stopped him from getting where he is today.

Getting additional help from only a few of the recognized DJs throughout San Antonio, Eddie learned the "tricks of the trade" very fast. After being a Mobile DJ for some years, spinning Latin House, Hip Hop, & International at many college parties throughout San Antonio and being a guest DJ in many venues, Eddie got enough exposure to get noticed and eventually got his first residency at Millennium in 1999. Six months later, Eddie was to spin at the newly opened Club Euphoria. That same night everything changed. Eddie received an offer from the mother of all nightclubs in San Antonio, Planeta MX, later known as Planeta Bar~Rio. Eddie worked his way from spinning for crowds of 200, to spinning for crowds of 2,000+ @ Planeta MX & Bar~Rio. At the end of 2002, Eddie left Planeta MX and became resident of two other venues, Ibiza and Arriba, between early 2003 and mid 2004 before making his way back to the place he called home, Planeta. Overall, Eddie Rza has spent more than 10 years with the people who have brought the most successful nightclub to San Antonio.

After more than 10 Years with Grupo Exclusivo and now Rio Ventures, Eddie Rza is still the Resident DJ/VJ of Club Rio (www.club-rio.net) – a San Antonio Tradition - and Maroc Bar (www.marocbar.com), San Antonio's most unique upscale lounge.

Throughout the years Eddie has been selected to play with some of the world's top DJs. Some of these include DJs like Andres Mijangos, open and at another event fill in for DJ Scribble, also open for Richard Vission on two different occasions, opened for George Acosta, Alex Peace, ATB, Benny Benassi, Bad Boy Bill, and had the closing spot after Ferry Corsten. Eddie Rza's dj carrer has had the biggest highlight to date when he got the chance to open for TIESTO, spinning right before the three time #1 DJ in the world in July 2007. Also, Eddie Rza has shared the line-up to open for John Digweed with local favorite Dave Molina, who opened the night for the former top ranked DJ.

With 20 years of experience, various residencies at upscale nightclubs, bars/lounges Eddie Rza's humble journey will end at Club Rio with the same people that saw him grow and become the main resident for the biggest and most successful night club in San Antonio.
